A RELOVE machine is a Nespresso machine that has been returned to Nespresso, or it incurred minor damage through external or internal handling, and it has been given another life. After being returned to Nespresso, the machine is carefully assessed to see if it can be refurbished or not. If the machine can be refurbished, it will be carefully inspected, repaired*, cleaned, tested and repackaged, preventively maintained*, by our trained technicians, thus becoming a RELOVE machine. They are all Nespresso quality-assured coming with a Nespresso warranty, as proof of our trust, and can now enjoy a new life. If the machine cannot be refurbished, we will ensure it is disposed of to be recycled in line with local regulations and practices by a third-party.

Yes, as with all new Nespresso machines, RELOVE machines come with the same one-year warranty.

The Standard versions have a plastic cup support and available in different colors

This mode is only available on select Vertuo machines (this excludes Vertuo Plus, Vertuo Evoluo and Vertuo Earth). An update of your machine via the Nespresso App may be necessary to enable the mode.

No. The removable parts are not dishwasher safe. They may be hand washed with mild soap and water.

With this mode, the coffee volumes are concentrated as below:

• For Espresso capsules: 40ml (1.4 fl oz) -> 25ml (0.85 fl oz)
• For Double-Espresso capsules: 80ml (2.7 fl oz) -> 40ml (1.4 fl oz)
• For Gran Lungo capsules: 150ml (5.1 fl oz) -> 40ml (1.4 fl oz)
• For Mug capsules: 230ml (7.8 fl oz) -> 80ml (2.7 fl oz)
• For Bianco Piccolo and Bianco Doppio, the extraction parameters are already pre-programmed to be mixed with milk. You'll find the recommendations on our coffee packagings.
• For Alto capsules, we do not recommend to use this mode.
• For Carafe and Cold Brew style capsules, the coffees have been developed to be extracted without this mode.

In line with our company wide sustainability approach, we seek to minimize the amount of energy required to produce a cup of coffee. Since 2009, all new Nespresso machine ranges have all been equipped with an energy-saving mode, or an automatic power-off function. The Vertuo Next machine has an auto-off at 2 minutes and an A+ energy rating.

Turn the machine ON by pushing the coffee button or locking/unlocking the lever. Turn the machine OFF by holding the coffee button for 3 seconds.

The programming is specific to each capsule size. Cup sizes can be preprogrammed from 0.7 oz/20 ml to 17 oz./ 500 ml. To do this, insert the capsule for which you wish to reprogram the volume, push and hold the button until desired volume is reached. Water volume level is then stored for the capsule size used for the programming.

Open the machine head and let the used capsule be ejected.
Close the head. Leave the handle in “UNLOCKED” position.
Push the button 5 times within 3 seconds. The button blinks 5 times orange and changes than to steady white.

The descaling frequency depends on the machine usage and the water hardness, which varies based on how often coffee is consumed in the household and the water of that particular location. The general rule is every 300 cups of coffee. The most reliable way to ensure it is ready to descale is through the descaling alert or by checking the status through the App.

All removable spare parts can be hand washed with mild soap and water. The milk carafe can be hand washed or washed in the top rack of your dishwasher. The machine is equipped with a cleaning procedure (see User Manual or tutorial video for detailed procedure). This process takes approximately 5 minutes. The external part of the machine can be wiped down with a damp cloth.

The machine does not require a specific cleaning frequency from a hygienic perspective. You may define the best frequency after learning how often you use the machine. A suggestion is to run it after two weeks to observe the cleanliness of the water. You may then decide to increase or decrease the frequency based on your preferences.

No; the temperature varies for each blend and cannot be altered. If you would like a warmer coffee, it is recommended to preheat your cup by rinsing it in hot water to help maintain the temperature and mix the coffee with the crema once brewed.

No. The classic Nespresso capsules cannot be used in the Vertuo machine system. They interact with the systems in different ways. These are two separate lines that will appeal to different types of coffee lovers.
