To create this exceptional blend we combined our coffee expertise with Zurich Michelin star Chef Heiko Nieder and the in-cup result is a 100% arabica full of caramel and cereal notes to ensure a truly unforgettable Swiss taste, especially with a dash of milk to recreate your cream coffee at home.

The café crème, reinvented
This blend, created in partnership with Zurich’s Chef Heiko Nieder, delights with a smooth, cereal base, topped by invigorating citrus notes and hints of sweet caramel.

Has a taste similar to cocoa or dark chocolate.
Can be perceived in the mouth at the back of the tongue.
Offers a dry sensation in the mouth, evoking lemon.
Usually perceived on the sides of the tongue.
Matches the weight and texture of a coffee as perceived in the mouth.

Origins
This blend is primarily sourced from the Central American countries of Nicaragua and Costa Rica.
Roasting
For this blend, we roast the first half of the coffee to a light degree to preserve some acidity and the second part to a darker degree to develop intensity, making it a medium roast overall with a slightly longer roasting time and a fine grind.
Recipes
Enjoy Zurich Lungo as a café crème, just like in Switzerland. Prepare your coffee as a lungo, add a delicate milk foam and finish with a light pinch of cookie powder for an irresistibly sweet touch.
