Yes, the main coffee button will blink orange 3 times and then steady white.

How to descale my machine?

See the User Manual or the tutorial video for detailed procedure. You can also use the Nespresso app if your machine is paired. Thanks to the step-by-step procedure, descaling your machine is super easy.

Are the machine parts dishwasher safe?

No. The removable parts are not dishwasher safe. They may be hand washed with mild soap and water.

How to reset to factory settings?

Open the machine head and let the used capsule be ejected. Close the head. Leave the handle in “UNLOCKED” position. Push the button 5 times within 3 seconds. The button blinks 5 times orange and changes than to steady white.

Can I regulate the heat of Vertuo Pop+ coffees?

No, the temperature varies for each blend and cannot be altered. If you would like a warmer coffee, it is recommended to preheat your cup by rinsing it in hot water to help maintain the temperature and mix the coffee with the crema once brewed.

Is a milk solution available for this Vertuo machine?

There is the possibility of buying the Aeroccino 3 or the Aeroccino 4 alongside the Vertuo machine to create the ultimate milk frothing experience.

Can I extract a Carafe with Vertuo Pop+?

As the Carafe accessory doesn't fit under the coffee outlet of Vertuo Pop+, we can't guarantee a good in cup result and overall experience. For this reason, we do not recommend extracting this coffee size with Vertuo Pop+.

The programming is specific to each capsule size. Cup sizes can be preprogrammed from 0.7 fl oz / 20 ml to 17 fl oz./ 500 ml. To do this, insert the capsule for which you wish to reprogram the volume, push and hold the button until desired volume is reached. Water volume level is then stored for the capsule size used for the programming.

The descaling frequency depends on the machine usage and the water hardness, which varies based on how often coffee is consumed in the household and the water of that particular location. The general rule is every 300 cups of coffee. The most reliable way to ensure it is ready to descale is through the descaling alert or by checking the status through the App.

Pairing your Vertuo Pop+ machine and connecting it to your WIFI network using your smartphone will enable your machine to update itself automatically, ensuring you always get the best possible coffee experience. On top of this, the Nespresso app will become a great interface on which you can check your machine's status, access tutorial videos and even step by step procedures for the maintenance of your machine. By allowing the push notification, you will receive messages when your machine needs your attention and dedicated screens explaining you how to solve any issues you may encounter.
