Frequently asked questions

There is no switch On/Off button. How do I switch on the appliance? How do I switch off the appliance?

Once inserted in the mains, the appliance is ready to be used.
To switch off the appliance, unplug the machine.

How can I froth the milk?

Fill the jug up to “Max Foam” level indicator for hot or cold milk froth. Press the far right button for warm and airy milk foam, the second from the right for warm and liquid milk foam or the first button from the left for a cold milk foam.

I would like to prepare hot milk only without frothing, how do I do this?

To prepare hot milk only, fill the jug up to “Max Milk” level indicator inside the jug and press the second button from the left.

Can I use all types of milk?

For optimal milk froth, use whole or semi skimmed milk at refrigerated temperature (about 4-6°C).
It is highly recommended to not use special enriched milks, powdered reconstituted milks nor flavoured milks.
Syrup, sugar, chocolate powder or any other additives should not be added directly in the jug. This may damage the coating during the preparation.

How should I clean the appliance?

Be sure to clean the Aeroccino 4 directly after every use.
If using a dishwasher, put all parts except the base in the dishwasher at maximum 70°C but ensure not to place the jug directly over the dishwasher pin as it may cause damage to the inner coating.
If hand washing, remove jug from base and wash inner jug, seal, lid, whisk and spring with detergent and rinse with warm/hot water.
Do not use abrasive material that might damage the surface of the equipment and do not fully immerse in water.
Make sure the underside of the milk frother is dry prior to putting it back on its base.

Does the Aeroccino 4 have an energy saving mode?

Yes, the appliance consumes less than 0.1 W in energy saving mode (standby mode).

What is the maximum capacity of the Aeroccino 4?

The maximum capacity of the appliance is 240 Ml for hot milk preparation. For milk froth preparation, either cold or hot, the maximum capacity is 120 Ml, suitable to prepare two Nespresso Cappuccino’s or one Nespresso Latte Macchiatto. The maximum levels are well indicated on the internal wall of the jug.

How long does it take to make a preparation?

The hot milk froth and cold milk froth preparations take approximately 80 seconds. For hot milk, preparation time is approximately 150 seconds. These times can be impacted by several factors such as, for example, the nominal power at your place that is fluctuating along the day, the number of preparations in a row or the cleanliness of the jug.

What is the difference between the Aeroccino 3 and the Aeroccino 4?

The main differences are the following:

- The Aeroccino 4 has one more hot milk froth texture that is ideal for cappuccinos.
