Reviving Origins is our long term program in which we partner with farmers to restore coffee regions. The rain-rich volcanic soils along the Kivu lakeshores of Eastern Congo are ideal Arabica terroir. Years of continued conflict and political instability left many plantations abandoned and smallholder farmers tapping only a fraction of Congo's potential for specialty coffee.

Nespresso's REVIVING ORIGINS program joins together with over 2800 Kivu farmers and partners to support coffee communities in raising Congo coffee – delivering the first organic coffee in our Reviving Origins range. REVIVING ORIGINS Congo is still a scarce treasure to behold. But each year, we'll bring you more of this smooth organic coffee, alluring complex with its mild fruity note and toasted cereal and nutty aromas.
