A UNIQUE COFFEE BEAN AROMA INDUCED BY THE SEA WINDS AND HUMIDITY.

The story began during the 18th century in India, where the finest Arabica beans were loaded onto wooden-hulled sailing ships bound for Europe. The peculiar effect of the humidity and tropical sea winds caused by the long trip, gave the coffee beans their unique aroma and a very special mellow texture.

A SPECIAL MATURATION PROCESS RE-INVENTED ON THE INDIAN MALABAR COAST.

"Nowadays, the same conditions that made this coffee legendary had to be recreated.
Through a special process called “monsooning”, the selected coffee beans are exposed to the tropical monsoon winds in well-ventilated warehouses close to the sea on the Indian Malabar coast for a period of 2 to 3 months, absorbing the salty moisture and adopting their characteristic golden colour. "

      1 Monsoon Malabar Grand Cru capsule
      1cl Vanilla syrup
      10cl non-alcoholic sparkling bitter aperitif
      3 Ice cubes
  • Accessories
      1 Shaker
      1 cocktail glass
  • Preparation

    - Pour 1cl of Vanilla syrup in the glass
    - Add 10cl of a non alcoholic sparkling bitter aperitif
    - Pour a Monsoon Malabar Grand Cru (40ml) in a shaker and shake it together with 3 ice cubes
    - Pour then the coffee in your glass
    - Decorate with a physalis
    - Drink it with a straw, from bottom to top.

    - Add 1 Monsoon Malabar Grand Cru (40ml)
    - Froth 10cl of milk in an Aeroccino (hot), pour it in the glass
    - Add a second Monsoon Malabar Grand Cru (40ml) softly
    - Cover the milk froth with cane sugar and caramelise it carefully with a kitchen blowtorch.
