Roasting process
Beans which are used to prepare this blend are divided into two batches. The first batch is roasted at medium temperatures, which results in a medium dark colour and sweetish malty notes. The second batch is roasted slightly more intensively to obtain a darker colour and greater intensity.
Origins
Traditionally, coffee harvesting in Costa Rica is carried out by hand. Imagine one of the country's most stunning sceneries – rainforests, volcanoes, hills and valleys surrounded by coffee bushes and sugar cane. Then, imagine the Orosi hot mineral spring located in one of Costa Rica's oldest communities. These thermal waters are responsible for the character of the Master Origins Costa Rica coffee.

Our recommendation
Our capsules are made of 80% recycled aluminium
This is part of our continued journey towards circularity, going further to minimize waste and maximize the reuse of product materials

Recycled aluminium requires less energy to produce and it provides the perfect barrier against oxygen, light, and humidity to protect the freshness and aromas of coffee over time.
