Vertuo Arondio’s Colombian washed arabicas and the touch of gourmet Guatemalan washed robusta round each other off. A mild Gran Lungo. But don’t be fooled, there’s an inner strength behind the cereal note – a subtle acidity and a hint of robusta oomph.
Try this Vertuo coffee with milk. It softens the cereal notes a little, while all of its enchanting character remains.
ORIGIN
The base coffee in this Nespresso Gran Lungo is washed Colombian arabica. It gives Vertuo Arondio a subtle acidity and a smooth cereal note. Rounding it off is just a touch of an exceptional washed Guatemalan robusta. There’s no harshness to it – just a pure clean strength.
ROASTING
We split-roast this Vertuo coffee. The Colombian arabica gets a light yet long roast – keeping a hint of acidity and developing the coffee’s roundness and mild cereal note. The Guatemalan washed robusta is dark and long-roasted, bringing out more of that cereal note. Robusta also gives this Vertuo coffee a fuller coffee crema.
AROMATIC PROFILE
Vertuo Arondio is mild with a rounded, smooth cereal note. A subtle acidity and a deep, gentle intensity makes this a long black coffee with an approachable character.
