Altissio Decaffeinato
In royal robes
When Altissio walks in, you’ll notice. South American Arabicas and Brazilian Robusta give it that full-bodied, bold espresso taste. A Costa Rican Arabica adds its soft cereal note. Vertuo Altissio’s a highly roasted coffee cloaked in creamy royal robes. This strong but very balanced, smooth coffee is obtained through the combination of a short prewetting, a slow flow and a high extraction temperature.
ORIGIN
No less of a head-turner than Altissio, Altissio Decaffeinato gets all its boldness from blending Latin American Arabicas with Brazilian Robusta and giving them a short, dark roast. The decaffeinated Costa Rican Arabica tempers the roastiness of the blend with its soft and creamy cereal note.
ROASTING
A green coffee blend, following inspiration from the traditional Altissio recipe. The majority of the blend is composed of Arabicas going through a dark and short roast.
AROMATIC PROFILE
Altissio Decaffeinato is no less cloaked in a creamy cereal note than Altissio. The decaffeinated Latin American Arabicas still get an intense roast.

85% OF ALUMINUM IN OUR VERTUO CAPSULES IS RECYCLED ALUMINUM
Why aluminum?
Aluminum is a perfect barrier to oxygen, light and humidity to protect the freshness and the aromas of high-quality coffee, over time. Besides, is infinitely recyclable and is one of the most widely recycled materials in the world.
The only way to become more circular is to ensure what comes to an end always becomes a new beginning. By the end of 2021, Nespresso planned to convert a complete line of Original coffees into new recycled aluminum capsules and succeeded. And now we will gradually extend this initiative to all Vertuo capsules by the end of 2022. But because Vertuo capsules are slightly larger than the Original, the aluminum content of recycled sources in this range will be 85%.
