Recycling

Every cup of Nespresso coffee is a new opportunity to recycle. Through our fully funded recycling program, you can give Nespresso capsules a new life.

We make it easy for you to get started recycling your capsules by offering pre-paid, pre-labelled UPS recycling bags to add on to your order. Our countertop container fits our pre-labeled recycling bags. It’s made from recycled plastic and uses minimal materials in production. For a higher capacity solution, try our new large cardboard recyclable box. Add these to your order or contact us at 800.566.0571.



At the recycling facility, the coffee grounds are separated from the aluminum. Our third-party recycling partner uses the coffee grounds to create compost and high-quality topsoil. The aluminum goes on to become other amazing things.
