World Explorations Stockholm Fortissio Lungo is a rich and intense all-Arabica blend that recreates the aromatic profile of a traditional Swedish coffee. In the age of sailing ships, Indian coffees took on a wild ocean-air taste on their long journey to Sweden which gave them a distinct savoury and malty character that has since captured Swedish hearts and palates. Today, we pay homage to this history and recreate the coffee’s full-bodied, distinct taste by warehousing Arabica beans along India’s southwestern coast, letting the local Monsoonal winds transform their very structure. High-grown Colombian Arabicas complement the blend’s flavor with a glimmer of sweetness, so that you can taste its rich and inviting flavor.

The Lungo represents the blending of two coffees long loved by Austrian coffee drinkers – Brazilian and Colombian Arabicas. In this smooth cup, sweet cereal notes of Brazil’s naturally processed beans mix with the fruity notes of a washed Colombian Arabica. Together they deliver a malty cereal taste and silky texture that sings with the warm grandeur of a Viennese classical coffee composition. If "Black Honey" processing were the easy road to a nectarous coffee, they’d all do it. But only a few farmers dare. The farmers remove this Arabica coffee cherry’s fruit flesh but then leave almost all its sticky mucilage still hugging the coffee bean when they spread it in a thin layer to dry. With daily diligence they rake and rotate and mix this incredibly sticky coffee to make sure only good flavors develop. Master Origin Nicaragua with ‘Black-Honey’ processed Arabica contains this coffee.
