Simple, one-touch brewing.

Create exceptional long coffee or authentic Espresso at the touch of a single button. The capsule is automatically ejected after brewing. To accommodate different cup sizes, the cup support is adjustable to three positions or can be removed completely.

Centrifusion™ extraction technology.

Vertuo coffee makers use a patented extraction technology developed by Nespresso known as Centrifusion™ technology. Just insert a capsule and close the lever - when activated, the capsule spins up to 4,000 rotations per minute, blending ground coffee with water and producing the perfect crema to enjoy your favorite long coffee or authentic Espresso.

Vertuo is an intelligent system that individually reads each coffee capsule. This means that every coffee is extracted perfectly as intended, delivering the ideal in-cup result.

The unique barcode on each capsule contains bespoke extraction parameters, that regulate the flow and volume of water, temperature, infusion time and even the speed of the capsule rotation. You can precisely brew your favourite coffee style. Easily. Every time.

Automatic blend recognition.

Vertuo uses an intelligent extraction system that recognizes each Nespresso coffee. Thanks to a barcode on the rim of the capsule, the brewing parameters are adjusted by the machine depending on the selected Nespresso coffee. There is no need to change settings. This delivers the best in-cup result for your chosen variety – all at the touch of a button.

You can make espressos to larger cups with Vertuo?- from a short Espresso, a smooth Gran Lungo, an indulgent Coffee or a bigger cup of Alto topped with smooth and generous crema. Behind the scenes, the technology uses gentle Centrifusion™ extraction, recognizing each capsule and adapting the parameters accordingly to create your perfect coffee style. With Original, you can also enjoy the same smooth, authentic taste of your coffee?- from Ristretto, Espresso, Lungo, to americano and milk recipes. Original machines use a high-pressure 19 bar extraction system to release the fresh aromas from each capsule.

How is Vertuo different from other coffees likes instant or filter?

The Pour-Over Coffee sleeve only includes 7 capsules, unlike the other capsule sleeves that includes 10.

How can I recycle my Vertuo capsules?

All Nespresso capsules are made from aluminium and can be recycled. Bring your used capsules to one of the recycling stations for aluminium across the country or drop them off at your neast Nespresso store. By adding capsule recycling to your coffee ritual, your coffee won't only taste good, it feels good too.
