HOW TO REGISTER YOUR COFFEE MACHINE?
When registering on our website or contacting us for the first time via phone, please provide the 19-digit serial number of your coffee machine (found on the box on a silver foil, on the label stuck to the drip tray, or at the bottom/back of the machine).
You can register your coffee machine through the following methods:
- via the website,
- by calling the toll-free number 06 80 2582 80,
- at one of our Nespresso Boutiques.

PREPARE YOUR COFFEE MACHINE FOR THE FIRST BREW
- Fill the water tank with lukewarm or warm water and turn on the coffee machine,
- Place a container under the coffee outlet,
- Brew half a tank of water through the system,
- Rinse the hot water and steam outlet accessory with the remaining water according to the coffee machine's user instructions.

PROTECT YOUR COFFEE MACHINE WITH REGULAR MAINTENANCE
To preserve the long-term quality of our coffees, maintain your ORIGINAL or VERTUO type coffee machine regularly with these simple steps:
- Rinse through a batch of water in your machine before the first daily use (without a capsule) to remove any coffee residue from the system.
- To ensure optimal temperature and quality of brewed coffee, descale your machine every six months or every 600 capsules.
- Refill the water tank daily with fresh water for perfect coffee quality.

Quick Troubleshooting
The following quick tips can help solve the most common problems:
Coffee Machines
The device does not turn on: Check the power cable and the fuses.
The coffee is not hot enough: Preheat the cups. If necessary, descale the coffee machine.
Coffee does not flow into the cup: Clean the spout and descale the coffee maker.
Incorrect quantities: Restore the factory settings or program the quantities manually as desired.
Milk Frothers
To achieve ideal milk froth:
Use cold, high-protein UHT milk.
For Latissima coffee machines, use the "Clean" function on the milk frother unit after every milk-based recipe.
Clean the Aeroccino milk frother thoroughly after each use, including its whisk.
If the milk froth quality is not satisfactory: Follow the above instructions or descale the machine.
