Tropical Twist Liquorice Macchiato

Are you in the mood to dream yourself away to more tropical surroundings while still taking your Nordic roots with you? Then we have got the perfect coffee recipe for you where liquorice and mango meet in this Tropical Twist Liquorice Macchiato!

Ingredients

  • 1 Vertuo Bianco Doppio For Milk (80 ml) or 2 Original Colombia brewed as espresso (2 x 40 ml)
  • 240 ml cow’s milk or oat drink
  • ½ tsp. of liquorice powder
  • 2 tbsp. of mango syrup
  • 1 tsp. of liquorice syrup or sauce
  • ½ tsp. of vanilla paste or vanilla extract
  • Fresh mango - cut and skewered

Make it vegan! Replace the milk with any vegan beverage of your choice.

In your Nespresso Barista Recipe Maker add milk, liquorice powder, mango syrup, liquorice syrup or sauce and the vanilla paste or extract. Use the Latte Macchiato program.

While your tropical liquorice milk is frothing, cut the mango and skewer it on a long toothpick.

Once the milk is done, pour it into your cup.

Now, brew your coffee over the milk to create the classic layered macchiato look.

Garnish your recipe with the skewered mango.

Optionally dust your recipe with a bit of liquorice powder, serve and enjoy!
