Enegy saving and reduce carbon dioxide

Recycling alminium consume only 5% of the energy nedded to create new aluminium from the beggining. 86% of the carbon footprint of aluminium occurs between bauxite mining and primary production. Therefore, recycling aluminium enable to save energy and reduce carbon footprint.

NESPRESSO is now creating some ORIGINAL and VERTUO coffee capsules using recycled aluminum. NESPRESSO JAPAN had launched MARSTER ORIGINS COLOMBIA made using 80% recycled aluminum. Since then, more and more NESPRESSO coffees sold in Japan are made with using 80% recycled aluminium.
