Original machines are the first ones we designed. With their award-winning and timeliness designs, they offer flexibility, ingenuity and convenience to our in-home and small office consumers.

From the farm to your cup
Great coffee doesn't happen by accident - it's the result of careful decisions made every step of the way. From selecting the best growing regions, to hand-picking the finest beans, to precise roasting and innovative extraction technology that ensures every cup always tastes perfect.
Quality coffee starts at the plantation. To ensure its high standards into the future, we created the Nespresso AAA Sustainable Quality™ programme with the Rainforest Alliance in 2003. Today, more than 150,000 farmers around the world are involved.
By working with more than 400 agronomists, we help farmers adopt sustainable agricultural practices that not only improve coffee quality and productivity, but also protect nature and improve growers' livelihoods.
Production and expertise
Nespresso coffee undergoes strict quality control before it reaches your cups. Each batch of coffee beans is thoroughly tested against rigorous standards of aroma, taste and physical properties. Our experts carry out more than 70 checks from harvest to final product.
Once the raw coffee is approved, it's the turn of the master blenders, roasters and millers to carefully adjust the flavour profile of each blend to achieve the perfect balance.
The final protection of the coffee is provided by the aluminium capsule, which preserves the aroma and protects it from moisture, light and oxidation. Thanks to this, you can enjoy perfectly fresh coffee at any time. What's more, aluminium is fully recyclable, allowing the material to be reused and contributing to a more sustainable future.
Coffee with a positive impact
We are a certified B Corp™ company. Sustainability and quality are key to us. From supporting the farmers who grow and harvest our coffee to recycling our capsules, we believe that every cup of Nespresso should have a positive impact.
We work with over 150,000 farmers through the AAA Sustainable Quality™ Program to ensure ethical and sustainable coffee production. Each of our capsules contains carefully selected beans that meet the highest quality standards.
Our aluminium capsules are made from 80% recycled material. Customers can also hand in used aluminium capsules free of charge, which are then processed by our partner recycling plant in the Czech Republic. The sorted capsules are used to produce aluminium granulate for further use in the metallurgical industry. The coffee grounds are converted into compost or biofuel.
