Together Nespresso and Starbucks Reserve are blending our expertise and pushing the boundaries of what coffee can be, starting with this first innovative blend. Nespresso’s Sun-Dried Ethiopia Mokaboji delights with surprising flavours, while Starbucks™ Aged Sumatra −aged for three to five years in towering stacks of burlap bags− brings rare spicy notes.
Combining these selected lots, we've created an elevated blend featuring lush notes of wild berry and sweet spice, with hints of citrus. This stunning brew brings a wondrous and unexpected tasting experience into the comfort of your home.
We combined two distinct origins to create this blend, each of them selected by one company. The Mokaboji, sourced by Nespresso, is a curated natural coffee from the South and West of Ethiopia. Aged Sumatra, sourced by Starbucks Reserve, follow a rare Indonesian aging method to further refine its sensorial notes.
We split roast this blend by origin. The Mokaboji gets a light roast to preserve its finer flowery notes, while Aged Sumatra is roasted for slightly longer to develop some intensity, creating an overall light roast.
This is part of our continued journey towards circularity, going further to minimize waste and maximize the reuse of product materials.
Recycled aluminium requires less energy to produce and it provides the perfect barrier against oxygen, light, and humidity to protect the freshness and aromas of coffee over time.
