Description

The cooler climate of Colombia’s high-altitude Aguadas Mountains means that the coffee takes longer to ferment. The classic method of processing washed coffee is complex and tedious, but this takes extra skill. Master Origin Colombia’s Washed Arabica shows how these Aguadas coffee farmers achieve the flavour of this beloved Colombian coffee by fine-tuning the classic washing process. They only take ripe fruit and carefully execute a longer fermentation. The reward is a particularly fruity and sweet cup with juicy acidity. You can pick up hints of caramel apples and berries in this classic washed Colombian coffee.

The Arabica coffee beans are given a medium roast and the uncommon Double Washed Robusta coffee beans get a long and deep roast.
