Free Recycling Bag
The recycling bag can hold a maximum of 100 Vertuo capsules or 200 Original capsules. Simply add the number of bags to your basket that suit your order size.
You can not add your used home compostable capsules in the same recycle bag as your aluminium capsules as they need to be recycled in your home garden composting system or Bokashi (not the bin for food waste).

You can recycle your used Nespresso capsules at all Nespresso Boutiques, at selected retailers and via all DAO Parcelshops.
To recycle your capsules via a DAO Parcelshop all you have to do is:
1. Fill a Nespresso Recycling bag with your used aluminium capsules and seal the bag properly using the glue strips.
2. Download a return code and write it clearly on the front of the bag. >>
3. Hand in the bag at your nearest DAO Parcelshop.
When you recycle your capsules at a boutique or a selected retailer you can use any bag or simply pour the capsules into the recycling bin.

The bin may be used with or without a plastic bag. When using the bin with a bag, insert the bag and fold it over the rim. Place upper part of the bin on the lower body and make sure that the parts are firmly attached. For transportation, lift the handle in an upright position. Store and transport bin in a vertical position. Deposit capsules into the bin without excess water. Nespresso recommends to empty the bin frequently. Wash your hands after you have emptied the bin. After emptying, clean the recycling bin with warm water and soap. Dry the recycling bin prior to re-use.
