REVIVING ORIGINS is our long-term program where we partner with coffee farmers to bring back some of the great coffees that nearly became extinct. The volcanic soils and rain along the shores of Lake Kivu in Eastern Congo is the ideal terroir for Arabica coffee. Years of ongoing conflict and political instability have left many plantations abandoned and small-scale coffee farmers tapping into only a fraction of Congo’s potential for specialty coffee. NESPRESSO’s REVIVING ORIGINS program joins coffee farmers and partners in South Kivu to support coffee-growing communities and elevate Congo coffee to its full glory. REVIVING ORIGINS Congo coffee remains a rare treasure to behold. But each year, we will bring you more of this organic coffee with a soft fruity note and its captivating sweet aromas of cereal and nuts.

This 100% Arabica coffee is made in the rich soil of Lake Kivu in eastern Congo.
