A simple yet captivating iced coffee, the Summer Shakerato is both an energising and refreshing treat that combines rich flavours and aromatic orange zest with the essence of fresh rosemary for a unique coffee experience. This iced coffee is perfect for any time of day and evokes the vibrant landscapes of Sicily, making it a delightful addition to your summer beverage menu.

To Make It:

i. In a small glass, add ice cubes, caramel syrup (10 ml), and barista almond milk (90 ml). Cut a small piece of orange zest and gently rub it before adding it to the glass.

ii. Brew a shot of espresso (using Original’s Freddo Intenso) into a shaker, add ice cubes, and shake vigorously until light and frothy. Pour the shaken espresso into the glass over the other ingredients.

iii. Slap a branch of fresh rosemary and place it over the top of the drink, along with another piece of orange zest. Enjoy!
Summer Shakerato Ice Coffe Recipe Freddo Intenso

To Make It:

i. Add ice cubes, vanilla syrup (10 ml), and 1.5% cold milk (50 ml) to a glass.

ii. In your Aeroccino, pour 100 ml of the same cold milk, close the lid, and press the cold foam button. Once ready, pour the cold milk foam into the glass, over the ice.

iii. Extract a shot of espresso directly over the other ingredients. Then, slap a branch of fresh thyme and place it on top as garnish.

Saffron Sunset Affogato


Enjoy an exotic Mediterranean twist to the classic Italian Affogato with this recipe. The Saffron Sunset Affogato is a delightful mix of creamy vanilla ice cream, fragrant saffron-infused milk foam, and bold coffee flavours.

To Make It:

i. In a mug, add a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Then, pour 100 ml of cold, 1.5% milk into your Barista Milk Device and add a pinch of saffron. Close the lid, and select the “Cappuccino” recipe. Press start.

ii. Brew a shot of espresso and pour it over and around the ice cream in your mug.

iii. Pour the aromatised milk from your device over both the ice cream and espresso. Optionally, garnish with a few pieces of saffron.

To Make It:

i. Lightly squeeze one orange slice and place it in a glass. Then, add ice cubes and pour 5 ml of vanilla syrup over it. Add one rosemary branch and 80 ml of tonic water.

ii. Extract a coffee capsule to add to your Barista Milk Device. Add an ice cube and close the lid, then select the “Iced Nitro” recipe.

iii. Once ready, gently pour the coffee into the glass containing the other ingredients.

To Make It:

i. Add ice cubes and 10 g of honey to a glass.

ii. Add 120 ml of 1.5% cold milk into your Aeroccino, close the lid, and press the cold foam button. Once it’s ready, pour the cold milk foam into the glass over the ice and honey. Make sure to leave some room at the top.

iii. Brew one capsule (we suggest Vertuo’s Sunny Almond Vanilla Over Ice) into the glass and top it off with slivered almond pieces, lemon zest, or for a little extra sweetness, a drizzle of honey.

iii. Once ready, pour the blue foam over the ice and milk in the glass, and extract the coffee (80 ml) over it. Add one edible fresh pansy flower or dried cornflower petals as a garnish, and enjoy.

To Make It:
