Peru Organic is grown High up above 1000 meters – even up to 2100 meters – tucked into the slopes of the Andes.
Roasting
Peru Organic is a single origin coffee roasted in two parts to bring a nuanced complexity to the cup. While the two splits are lightly roasted, the second is a bit longer to get some intensity and body.

Your new coffee ritual
Try these tips to get the best coffee experience from Nespresso home compostable capsules*:
Prepare your coffee as usual.
Wait a few moments before slowly and gently opening the lever (about 5 seconds).
The capsule is stuck in your machine? Use the tip of a teaspoon to gently apply pressure on the highest side of the capsule, in order to correct the angle of the tilt. The capsule should now drop through the machine. Please do not use your finger. You can find further tips in the FAQs.
We recommend emptying the capsule bin at least once a day, and cleaning it regularly.
Throw your used capsules into your home compost.
Close the pouch with a clip after each use.
Home compostable capsules*
Discover the steps of composting Nespresso paper-based capsules* at home:
1. After coffee preperation
After use, dispose of the capsule in your home compost.*
2. Composting process
Note that compost needs air and moisture. Alternate wet and dry waste to enhance decomposition.
3. After about 6 months
Stop adding waste and create a new compost to support the composting process.
4. A few months later
Your capsule is completely composted. Use the nutritionally-rich compost for your plants.

*Our paper-based capsules are certified home compostable and composed of 82% of paper. DISPOSE OF: After use, dispose of the capsule in your home compost. If home compost is not available, bring your capsules to a Nespresso collection point or if this is not an option dispose the capsules in the residual waste. Do not dispose them in the paper or organic waste bin. Dispose of the bag in the yellow bin or yellow bag.
