What’s the difference between Original and Vertuo coffee pod machines
The Original range of coffee machines offers a classic espresso experience while the Vertuo machines deliver the full range of coffee styles, with 5 cup sizes. Each system also has its own technology for extracting the coffee.
Nespresso Original Coffee Machine Features
The perfect cup of coffee is no accident. It takes a delicate balance of craft and technology to create coffee that satisfies, cup after cup.
Original machines use a high-pressure 19 bar extraction system to release the aromas and notes from each capsule. This means simple preparation of some of your favourite coffees including Ristretto, Espresso, Lungo and Long Blacks, Cappucino, Latte or Iced coffee.
Single serve coffee machines
If you’re looking for quick, easy and convenient coffee making, look no further than the Original line single serve machines. The Essenza Mini, Inissia and Citiz machines offer delicious, fuss-free espresso at your fingertips.
Milk and latte machines
The Original line of milk and latte machines brings together barista style coffee creation and the simplicity of a one-touch system.
The Latissima range is perfectly suited to espresso or lungo creation or the occasional cappuccino of latte macchiato.
The Creatista range allows you to explore all of the your personal preferences. The machines have a fully automatic steam wand, a 3 second heat up time, assisted cleaning, auto frothing and an intuitive digital display.
Vertuo Coffee Machine Features
Nespresso Vertuo machines provide an innovative approach to coffee creation. Each machine in the line uses an intelligent extraction system known as Centrifusion technology, individually reading each coffee capsule and tailors the extraction levels accordingly.
The unique barcode on each capsule contains bespoke extraction parameters that regulate the flow and volume of water as well as temperature, infusion time and even the speed of the capsule rotation.
The Vertuo line offers 26 unique coffee blends in five cup sizes so you can choose a size and flavour to meet your unique taste.
