How it worked
For every sleeve of Napoli coffee individually sold in Australia this International Women’s Day (Saturday 8 March, 2025), Nespresso committed to donate the value of that sleeve to the Two Good Foundation to support Australian women with lived experienced of homelessness, domestic violence and complex trauma.
Reviving an old Neapolitan coffee tradition
Some traditions are worth holding onto. ‘Caffè Sospeso’ is one of them. Believed to have originated among cafes in Naples many years ago, ‘Caffè Sospeso’ is translated as ‘Suspended coffee’ and is the tradition of ordering and paying for two coffees: one for yourself, and another for a stranger less fortunate than you to enjoy in the future.
To pay homage to this thoughtful act, Nespresso committed to pay it forward on every sleeve of Napoli coffee individually sold on International Women’s Day.
