Once inserted in the mains, the appliance is ready to be used. To switch off the appliance, unplug the machine.

Attach the relevant whisk. Fill the jug up to one of the two “max” levels, based on which whisk you are using. For hot preparation, briefly press button to start. Button lights up Red. For cold milk froth, keep button pressed for approx. 2 seconds. Button lights up Blue.

To prepare hot milk only, remove the frothing spring from the whisk prior placing in the jug. You can store the frothing spring in the storage area located on the lid to prevent losing it.

Whole dairy milk (full-cream milk) creates a thicker, creamier foam when frothed, giving more body to your coffee drink. Low-fat milk and skim milk are much lighter and create larger quantities of foam with larger air bubbles, suitable for a more delicate latte or cappuccino. As for non-dairy alternatives, soy, almond and oat milks can also be used.

For the best milk froth, use refrigerated milk (about 4-6°C). Results will always vary, so the best tip is to explore different milk brands with your at-home milk frother device.

It is recommended not to use special enriched milks, powdered reconstitued milks nor flavoured milks. Syrups, sugar, chocolate powder or any other additives should not be added directly in the jug. This may damage the coating during preparation.

The Aeroccino milk frother is best cleaned after every use to avoid residue build-up. The jug coating prevents milk from sticking, which makes it quick and easy to clean.

As the jug is waterproof and not dishwasher safe, clean it by placing it under running water and use a non-abrasive cloth or scourer. Make sure the underside of the milk frother jug is completely dry before positioning it back on the base of the device.

Top tip: If you notice residue build up, use a Teflon-safe/non-scratch cloth when cleaning.

The maximum capacity of the appliance is 240 ml for hot milk preparation. For milk froth preparation, either cold or hot, the maximum capacity is 120 ml, suitable for two Nespresso Cappuccino’s. The maximum levels are well indicated on the internal wall of the jug.

The hot milk froth and cold milk froth preparations are done respectively in 70 and 60 seconds approximately. For hot milk, preparation time is approximately 70-80 seconds. These times can be impacted by several factors. For example, the amount of milk in the jug, the number of preparation in a row or the cleanliness of the jug.
