My wife and I have waited for this machine to become available. It is worth the wait, the steam milk enhances the coffee flavour and aromatics that makes every coffee worth the wait to enjoy.

Had the machine for 4 months, it is a total waste of money. Other than making black coffees pretty well, anytime you want to use the milk frother there seems to be a warning light and it doesn’t work. You need to use an app to diagnose the issue, you attempt to fix it and then the next time you go to use it, there’s the same warning, It is supposed to be ‘smarter’ than the old magnetic jug frothers, but it is far from it! We have gone back to our old machine and are trying to sell this one on ebay. Our machine needs a ‘firmware’ update. You go to make the update and it says the machine is not connected to the wifi. You ensure it is connected and then it insists on doing the update overnight. Low and behold the next day the update hasn’t occurred. Over thought, under engineered and genuinely disappointing from a “market leader”

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was gifted a Pop+ for Christmas and after using it for a few months I fell in love. I have upgraded to the top of the line machine to be able to steam my milk and enjoy my coffee each morning.

Frustrating machine. Makes a nice cup of coffee, but as several people mention in reviews here and online, this machine leaks at the bottom. It doesn't matter if the drip-tray is emptied, you do all the recommended descaling, empty the pods after use - it leaves an unreasonable puddle of water under the machine. I'm on my second of these machines (after Nespresso sent a replacement for the same issue). Spend more time wiping down counters than making coffee.

Looks pretty in my kitchen & I enjoy the variety of pods, however I have one major complaint. The coffee brews lukewarm. It’s not hot at all and there’s no temperature adjustment. I have a non-Nespresso breville espresso machine and LOVE it! So I fully expected to love this one just as much. But the inability to make the coffee hot really bothers me. Especially since I put my coffee directly into a yeti which can’t be microwaved. Plus I honestly just want FRESH HOT coffee. I don’t want to have to heat it up in order to enjoy it immediately after making it. I’ve been using the milk frother to heat the coffee which helps, but this extra step is annoying. I wouldn’t buy another Nespresso machine unless is has a temperature adjustment

I’ve had this machine for a month now; it’s great! Zero leaks and the steam wand is amazing! My only issue… closing it! I can’t fathom why a machine this pricey is so hard to close! My old, much cheaper nespresso machines closed with ease. The design on this one is terrible. I always feel like I’m going to break it, and you need to use two hands.

Biggest waste of money - broke 3 times. Nespresso team puts you in circles trying to solve the issue. Repair centre sent back a broken and dented machine… why this machine is $1000, I have no clue. It’s worse than the old reliable $150 one I had. Wish I bought a smeg.

Having purchased several Nespresso Next machines over the past few years for myself and others, I recently made the leap to this machine. Despite the many reviews regarding problems with leakage and such, I’m happy to say that mine has performed faultlessly. Perhaps mine is the exception, or perhaps the reviews mentioned are in error. Regardless of which, I’m pleased thus far with my purchase. It isn’t perfect, however. Because of its more svelte design the top of the machine, which opens and closes to insert or remove the capsules, is somewhat difficult to grasp without hindering the rotation of the locking mechanism, and as one reviewer has noted, the inside rails that grasp the capsules for extraction are now made of plastic instead of metal. However, as I don’t want the hassle of removing and cleaning the 2-piece storage container (I carefully open the lid only partially to grasp the spent capsules with my fingers before the machine can grasp them), this issue is moot for me. The build quality of the Creatista is quite high with minimal gaps between the individual machine parts; overall, its appearance (and the polish particularly), is striking. I found setting the machine for water hardness simple and the general operation of the machine’s functions straight forward. If you’re familiar with the operation of a Nespresso Next machine, the Creatista will prove to be no challenge for you. This machine is no doubt a significant investment. Time will tell if it holds up to the great long-term performance of my previous, and far less expensive, Nespresso coffee machines. But so far, so good.

Extremely poor quality. The first machine leaked badly after a month. The second machine leaked and would not initiate descaling. I tried a firmware update, which kept failing due to Bluetooth continually being disconnected by the machine. After the failed firmware update, the machine will make a coffee but will not shut off and will overfill even the largest 12oz coffee cup I have. Support is annoying, slow, and hard to understand. I wish I could get a refund.

I have wanted this machine since it was first introduced but could not justify the price. I was hoping a coffee and machine deal would come around, and it did. It was a gift, and it has been used daily since December 25th. I’ll package this review in 3 areas, the good, the bad and the ugly. Starting with the good. The machine looks great in the kitchen. Classic and sleek lines. The counter area is less cluttered than having my Vertuo Next and Barista milk frother plugged in on the counter at the same time. As expected, the machine brews the high standard of great tasting coffee we have come to love with Nespresso machines. Next the bad. As nice as the machine is, I almost think the designers purposely measured thousands of insulated travel mugs and then subtracted 2 centimetres to ensure they will not fit on the tray for coffee brewing. You will need to remove the tray, which has a friction clip that holds it in place, for your mug to fit under the machine. I am confident that this friction clip will wear out as the positive lock of the clip does not have much resistance to pull out the tray. The milk graduations inside the milk mug. The markings and numbers are small and printed on the stainless steal. I can see them wearing off in time from cleaning and wiping the inside of the mug. And now the ugly. This machine is nice, shiny, so classy looking, a thing of beauty, then you start to get to know it. Back to that roommate thing, you know the one with great looks but just has some annoying personality traits you have a hard time getting past. There is a drain/flush outlet at the bottom between the coffee and milk frother sides that is hidden. It flushes the water in the line to the milk frother when you start a cycle. This water goes into a narrow section of the tray that tucks under the machine. (don’t try to make frothed milk without the tray by holding the milk mug because you are making coffee in a travel mug). After a you froth the milk, the wand will spit out some steamed water (3 shots) to purge it and you can use it to wipe the wand, IF you put a cloth under the wand to catch it. These two processes use water, which ends up in the tray. I measured it, approximately 90ml of water/milky water was in the tray after one coffee with frothed milk. Like that good looking roommate that somehow manages to make a mess of the kitchen when making a bowl of cereal, this machine needs more TLC than a Next or Pop and a Barrista to make the same milk and coffee. You wouldn’t leave your kitchen a mess all day, hopefully. So, you will end up cleaning the machine after you use it. That water/milky water in the tray will come back to haunt you if not cleaned right away. Things you will need to clean. The tray has 3 parts to it, the base tray, the spacer which sits inside the base tray (which has countless nooks, holes and crevices to try to clean and dry) and the shiny top, which you will want to polish before reinstalling. The wand, a simple wipe and you can leave a milky film on the back side where it will dry on since the wand is hot. (roommate again) You may need to wipe the wand more than once to remove all the milky residue. To wrap it up. There is a romance in brewing a good coffee. And that romance involves an investment of time, which is time you are meant to enjoy. A great machine, always good coffee, and learning that sometimes the investment of a little more TLC comes hand in hand with the romance at the beginning of a long-term relationship.

Purchased 3Q24. Love the build quality, ease of use, ease of cleaning, and the coffee-convenience. Unfortunately mine leaks water onto the counter beneath it; sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't. The volume of water is about 1/4 cup at most. A quick search on the 'net yields no conclusive results other than this is surprisingly common, so I'm considering another machine...which is not what Nespresso wants since I go through 2-3 capsules a day.

Got this as a gift 3 months ago and the pod lock is not the best, does not dump the pods properly into the bin any more but the worst thing is that it leaks terribly now. I have had an old Nespresso that was substantially cheaper and it never leaked. This thing leaks overnight when not being used. Should have a major recall after reading all these reviews. I had a large puddle of water underneath it every morning. No longer using it and trying to exchange it for another one.

I've litterally gone through four machines! EVERY SINGLE ONE leaks out the bottom. i have its on a wood base and the base is consistently wet!! is there no quality control?

The worst machine I’ve bought yet from nespresso. Stoped working the first time I tried to descale. Customer care to get a replacement is an absolute nightmare. I think after 12 years of being a loyal customer, that this machine has ruined Neepresso for me.

Great looking and has everything you want for someone looking for a coffee station

Bought this a month ago, thought it was a vertuo creatista machine and the machine uses different pods than advertised. Its pretty but not being used

We like the machine however, it doesn't produce the coffee at a very high temperature, I always have to steam a cup of coffee

I bought this machine as part of a promotion (the price was right), and it has been worth every penny. The water tank is larger; the quickly accessible steamed milk is fantastic. The stainless wipes clean quickly, and it looks great.

This is my 4th machine in 15 years and I can’t stand it. Lights go on and it stops working, try to clean and descale but every 2~3 weeks lights go on and it stops working until you can figure out what the stupid thing wants. I’m up at 5am with friends evacuating from a fire in Malibu and I can’t make a single coffee for anyone. I’m ready to throw it in the trash. Just put the tea kettle on.

I bought this machine approximately 6 months ago after using other Vertuo models for the past year or so. It is beautiful on the counter, makes incredible coffee and the milk frother is great. The only problem (and it appears to me to be a design defect) is the the pods don't eject as the should everytime you open the top. First, for this, the most expensive model, the grippers are plastic rather than metal (as found in the lesser expensive models). I exchanged this once - it worked for several months and no does not eject again. I have gotten used to removing the pods by hand.

I’ve never been more disappointed with a coffee machine especially considering the price I paid. I’ve had it over a year and a half and it’s simply not reliable. It has two major issues. The first, is that the machine leaks from the bottom each and every time I run a machine rinse and occasionally when I rinse the milk frothing wand. It’s just part of my routine now that I place a stack of paper towels underneath the machine when I plan to do any sort of machine rinse. The second is that I’m forced to waste several coffee pods to eventually get one cup of coffee. It’s apparently because the machine has issues reading the pod’s barcode underneath the pod rim. It doesn’t matter whether it’s a Nespresso pod or some other brand. I’m constantly greeted by the flashing red light on top of the pod compartment. I’ve cleaned the plastic pod reader, then completed a manufacturers’ reset by holding down the milk temperature button for the required number of seconds. All to no avail. I have decided not to buy any more pods until I’ve gone through the ones I have, so as not to waste any more money on this machine and then I’ll toss this useless machine into the trash.

I bought this machine a month ago and have been enjoying it up until yesterday. Will not make a travel mug amount now. Have tried everything to get it to produce the desired travel mug amount. Not very happy with it at this point. I went on line to see how to fix it and see other customers have had the same problem! Guess I’ll just have to return it.
