This is Ethiopian Arabica at its finest - decadently aromatic. It has an orange blossom aroma, but the rich fruit jam notes come from the sun-dried coffee in Master Origins ETHIOPIA with dry processed Arabica. Continually hand-turning the coffee cherry to ensure even drying calls for great care. And Ethiopian farmers have used this method for longer than anyone else.
ORIGIN
All of the coffees in Master Origins ETHIOPIA with dry processed Arabica are Ethiopian Arabica. The signature jammy notes come from the naturally processed coffee beans. In the western highlands of Ethiopia, it’s their heritage to spread the harvested coffee cherry out across raised drying tables. The farmers here have used this traditional farming method for longer than anyone else.
ROASTING
A light and short roast keeps the more delicate notes alive and singing through the wilder, heavier aromatics of this Ethiopian coffee.

Why aluminum?
Aluminum is a perfect barrier to oxygen, light and humidity to protect the freshness and the aromas of high-quality coffee, over time. Besides, is infinitely recyclable and is one of the most widely recycled materials in the world.
The only way to become more circular is to ensure what comes to an end always becomes a new beginning.
Our goal was to have our Original capsules made using 80% recycled aluminum by the end of 2021, what we have successfully achieved. And now we will gradually extend this initiative to all Vertuo capsules by the end of 2022. But because Vertuo capsules are slightly larger than the Original, the aluminum content of recycled sources in this range will be 85%.
