Does 'Starbucks ® by Nespresso for Vertuo' coffee taste like Nespresso coffee or Starbucks coffee?

To create the signature Starbucks flavor, we use three different roasting techniques of Starbucks. Starbucks capsules are categorized into blonde roast, medium roast, and dark roast, and you can enjoy the signature flavors of Starbucks cafe at home with Vertuo.

‘Starbucks ® by Nespresso for Vertuo’ capsules recyclable?

‘Starbucks ® by Nespresso for Vertuo’ coffee capsules are made of aluminum and can be recycled. If you would like to recycle your used capsules, you can return them to a Nespresso boutique or request a recycling bag to be collected when you place your Club / Online / Mobile order.

Will 'Starbucks ® by Nespresso for Vertuo' coffee be sold at Starbucks at Home website?

No, 'Starbucks ® by Nespresso for Vertuo' coffee is only available through the Nespresso channel.

How can I recycle my used coffee capsule?

You may return your recycled bag through various channels below. ▶Boutique stores: You can return your recycled bag at the recylcle bin. ▶Online: Add 'pick up recycled bag' at the cart upon your purchase order. Delivery service will pick up your recycled bag. You may also request new recycled bag upon your purchase order for future usage. ▶Club: Call Nespresso Club or use live chat to request recycled bag collection service upon your purchase order. Is Nespresso coffee sourced from Fair Trade coffee?

What is the caffeine content across Nespresso coffees range?

Caffeine content will mostly depend on the coffee quantity used to extract one cup, and the amount of Robusta in the blend since Robusta contains more caffeine than Arabica. Nespresso coffee contains average 13~200mg caffeine per cup, while the average amount of caffeine in decaffeinated coffees ranges between 0-12 mg per cup. According to EFSA, it was concluded that moderate caffeine intake of up to 400 mg per day and up to 200 mg per serving does not have any adverse effect on health for a healthy adult population. Nespresso coffee generally contains maximum 200mg caffeine per cup of coffee.

Does a strong coffee according to the Nespresso intensity scale contain more caffeine than the lower intensity rating coffees?

Not necessarily. The intensity of a coffee does not refer to the amount of caffeine it contains. A coffee’s intensity, as defined by Nespresso, is based on coffee's degree of roasting, its body and its bitterness. In some cases, this is achieved by adding Robusta to the blend which would also increase caffeine content. It can however also be achieved by a darker roast degree.

Insert Vertuo coffee into the Vertuo Pop/Next machine and quickly click the extraction button twice. The button light will flash turquoise, indicating that Vertuo coffee is being extracted in "Ice & Latte Mode." #ALaMode extracts coffee optimized for enjoying as iced coffee or latte, delivering a richer coffee flavor that becomes even sweeter and creamier when milk or ice is added.
