NESPRESSO PROFESSIONAL PRESENTS THE CHEF ACADEMY COMPETITION*
Our six finalists have now been chosen. They will battle it out by cooking their best sustainable recipes for our panel of judges at the final on the 3rd of October where wel will crown the winner. Thank you to everyone who entered for the great submissions.
Following the success of our Chef Edition Video Series , we are looking for ways to innovate the future of the HORECA industry, and how quality coffee can coincide with this.
Join us as we launch our first Chef Academy competition, opening doors and conversations between the chefs of the future and Nespresso Professional Chef judges, including Chef Sally Abé,Chef Andy Beynon and Michael Wignall and more.
Submit an idea for a dish to earn a spot in the top entrants, before 6 chef finalists are selected by a judging panel. The final will be held on 3rd October 2022, in London, UK. Entries closed on 18th September 2022.
COMPETITION ENTRY TASK
Chefs are to submit a creative and innovative dish under the theme of ‘Food Sustainability and the Future’ via the submission form.
With an eye on the future, we’re looking at food sustainability and championing the creativity of chefs in bringing delicious taste and innovative solutions in the form of sustainable dishes. Whether it’s working with organic or local produce, exploring the possibilities of vegan ingredients, or diving into the rediscovered practice of foraging to source nature’s most natural ingredients, we love how chefs today are leading the way in using food as a force for good, AND this is what we want to see in the competition’s entry submissions.
Chefs are to include the recipe and method of their chosen dish and consider which Nespresso Professional Origins coffee pairs best with their sustainable dish, based on the coffee’s established tasting notes found here (please use the Nespresso Origins coffees only)
