Buzzing with communities
For over two decades, Nespresso has been working with 150,000 coffee farmers fostering environmentally responsible practices through the AAA Program. As part of this program, and in collaboration with Ubees, Nespresso is supporting a new initiative that helps Colombian farmers to become beekeepers, allowing them to develop new skills and obtain an additional source of income through the production of honey.
Partnering for change
Since 2020, Nespresso has partnered with Ubees, an expert beekeeping company that uses technology to offer farmers a real-time monitoring of the beehives’ health. Equipped with these advanced tools and supported by training programs, farmers gain the ability to assess and oversee the overall wellbeing of their bees.
