20 yr Nespresso customer, and still have my original Krups. Wanted to try the larger capsules so selected this machine. In 12 months we have owned it, its been sent back for repair twice. Each time takes around 4 weeks. In the first 7 months of ownership, Nespresso had it for 2 of them. Last time we received a brand new model. It too has failed yet again after 5 months, which worryingly was a record. I was open to the idea it could be how i use it, so with a new replacement we were super specific and very, very gentle. Alas same result. Failure reasons are varied, from fail to read capsule, no water flow, 'machine too hot 'warnings on start-up, Milk Froth lights failing to illuminate etc etc. You will end up wasting alot of capsules whilst you troubleshoot. When it works its ok, but it brings trepidation every time you try and make a coffee on whether it ill work. Not recommended at all. Nespresso just want me to keep 'sending it in for repairs'. Thankfully, Amazon accepted a Return for Full Refund.

I purchased my machine in March 24 and it was very noisy to begin with but thought well it's a different machine from our other Nespresso machines we have had so probs just the norm. By June every second day I would have error code 1760 (Machine too hot). I descaled it, reset it to default factory settings as per Nespresso advice. Problem was still there but pretty much every time I went to use it. I have wasted dozens and dozens of pods.I have never had any issues with Nespresso service they have always been fantastic... until now! In the past they send you a new machine if it's in warranty and due to not our fault but not this time. The machine wasn't even 4 months old and I have to send it in for them to look at it minimum 10 - 15 days once they receive it so pretty much a whole month for them. In that time no loan machine like they used to and Im without coffee. This has made me furious and safe to say has really put me off Nespresso for the future. I'm awaiting the machine to come back and safe to say he moment it makes an unusual sound I will be demanding a full refund and will purchase another machine. Very disappointing in the service care from Nespresso. this is obviously a dud machine and I expected much better than this. Sorry to say but I wouldn't recommend this machine or Nespresso at this point of time anymore.
