Faulty product

I brought a limited edition Nespresso matte black Vertuo Next Rose Gold logo 3 years ago during the black Friday sales in Australia in 2022. I started to have issues with it after I brought it.
At the time, I just thought it was a firmware problem. However, it wouldn’t let me update the firmware, wouldn’t work properly when trying to use the coffee pod, the top part when you try to unlock / lock is very tight to the point it can break while trying to open and close etc.
When I tried to descale my machine after following the instructions - it wouldn’t descale, it came up with a blue light which the customer service team told me that it is not meant to do that. We tried everything to make it work - it was still doing the same thing over and over again. It kept disconnecting from the wifi on the Nespresso app, I stay up very late to try and update the firmware - it wouldn’t even update.
I went back to the boutique store where I brought it from so many times to tell them about the issue - they said it was perfectly fine.
Until I got told yesterday on the phone by the Nespresso customer support team that my machine is faulty and may not be fixable. My 2 year warranty expired.
I am heartbroken and devastated that I was sold a faulty product. I’m going to try and upgrade to the Vertuo pop coffee machine instead even if I won’t be able to get a discount

Great when it works and when pods were less money.

We have had this machine for about a year, makes great coffee when it works properly. Some pods wouldn't work and It would waste the pods (which have become more expensive) The bluetooth also did funny things and we would have to reset everything to make it work again. Also, living in Canada the recycling process changed multiple times and was a pain to get the bags of pods shipped out. Overall not recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Nespresso. I loved the idea of how compact this machine is. The only thing I don’t like is that I can only get two cups of coffee and my tumblers don’t usually fit under the spout. But again, the appeal of the machine was the reduced size so I can’t really complain.
