As part of your machine maintenance, we recommend flushing water through your machine without a capsule using the first-time use steps, at least once a week. This helps flush away any coffee granule buildup from the head of your machine. We also recommend releasing the used capsule into the used capsule chamber immediately after your capsule is brewed, use a damp sponge to wipe away any coffee residue from the rim and chalice, and empty the used capsule container a few times a week.
