Pairing your Vertuo Pop+ machine and connecting it to your WIFI network using your smartphone will enable your machine to update itself automatically, ensuring you always get the best possible coffee experience. On top of this, the Nespresso app will become a great interface on which you can check your machine's status, access tutorial videos and even step by step procedures for the maintenance of your machine. By allowing the push notification, you will receive messages when your machine needs your attention and dedicated screens explaining you how to solve any issues you may encounter.

No. The removable parts are not dishwasher safe. They may be hand washed with mild soap and water.

Yes, the machine can be turned “OFF” at any time (when not operating) by holding the button for 3 seconds.

1. Open the machine head and let the used capsule be ejected. 

2. Close the head. Leave the handle in “UNLOCKED” position. 

3. Push the button 5 times within 3 seconds. The button blinks 5 times orange and changes than to steady white. 

Yes. You can press on the button while the machine is still heating up. The coffee will then flow automatically when the machine is ready.

The descaling frequency depends on the machine usage and the water hardness, which varies based on how often coffee is consumed in the household and the water of that particular location. The general rule is every 300 cups of coffee. The most reliable way to ensure it is ready to descale is through the descaling alert or by checking the status through the App.

No, the temperature varies for each blend and cannot be altered. If you would like a warmer coffee, it is recommended to preheat your cup by rinsing it in hot water to help maintain the temperature and mix the coffee with the crema once brewed.

No. The Original Nespresso capsules cannot be used in the Vertuo machine system. They interact with the systems in different ways. These are two separate lines that will appeal to different types of coffee lovers.
