CAN THE ORIGINAL CAPSULES BE USED FOR VERTUO?

No. The Nespresso Original and Vertuo systems are technologically different and therefore use different types of capsules. They are two separate series, each of them will suit different categories of coffee lovers.

CAN I RECYCLE VERTUO CAPSULES?

Yes. All Vertuo capsules can be recycled through existing recycling systems for Nespresso Original capsules.

Easy preparation at the push of a button

Just insert the coffee capsule, press the button and the Vertuo coffee machine with patented Centrifusion™ technology takes care of the rest.

The coffee machine reads the unique barcode on the capsule, recognizes the inserted coffee and automatically adjusts parameters of its preparation. It regulates the flow and volume of water, the temperature, the extraction time and the speed of rotation of the capsule.

You can prepare your favorite coffee with a rich crema, which is naturally created by the Vertuo coffee extraction process, with the same ease and precision every time.

This is a new Nespresso system based on the innovative Centrifusion™ technology. Thanks to the unique barcode, we can set various parameters for the automatic extraction of individual coffees. By pressing a single button, you can prepare a wide range of coffees - from traditional Ristretto (25 ml) to large cups (up to 535 ml). Different capsules are used for this system than for the Original system.

The Vertuo system is designed for lovers of experiences and endless possibilities. You will appreciate the wide range of coffee mixes for preparing different sizes and styles of coffee that you can share with your friends. The Vertuo coffee portfolio offers over 40 unique blends from Ristretto and Espresso, to milk recipes, to iced or energy-boosted coffees. Together with an intense, smooth and refined taste, Vertuo presents a comprehensive coffee solution that provides incomparable coffee enjoyment.

The Original system offers over 30 coffees in a permanent portfolio and is suitable for lovers of traditional Espresso (40 ml) or Lunga (110 ml), which can be used in combination with milk foam machines to prepare Cappuccino or Latte Macchiato.

We buy the highest quality beans for both Vertuo and Original coffees. Each mixture is prepared specifically to ensure maximum harmony with the parameters of the preparation technology. Because the technology of the Vertuo and Original systems is different, it is necessary to have different coffee blends.
