From husk to mug

The Nude collection allows you to become part of a harmonious cycle, starting with the coffee husk that surrounds each bean, up to the cup in which you prepare your favorite coffee.

Products from this collection are partly made from coffee husks and remind the importance and the preciousness of every part of nature. The lid of the mug is designed so that you can comfortably drink your favorite coffee from it at home, on the way from work, or even outside for a walk.

Material: mug: 36% coffee husks, 64% polypropylene / lid: 22% coffee husks, 78% polypropylene
Suitable for the dishwasher.
WARNING: The travel mug is not suitable for the microwave oven.

ABOUT HUSKEE

Saxon Wright is co-founder and CEO of Huskee, a sustainably driven product and design studio based in Sydney, Australia. Saxon has worked in the coffee industry for over 20 years including as a World Barista Championship sensory judge. His focus is on design to solve environmental challenges and Huskee is developing products and systems that both re-use and reduce waste enabling circularity within the coffee industry. He is passionate about aligning his love for coffee with every day items that elevate the coffee experience.

END OF LIFE - Recycling

Nude mugs are made of more than 30% coffee husk and the rest is polypropylene. The result of this combination is their long service life and high resistance.

In addition, the mugs and lids can be returned to be reused in the production of new products. If Nespresso collects a sufficient number of mugs, it will give them a chance for a new life.
