Using one capsule of Limited Edition Forest Fruit Flavour - all you need extra is ice cubes, sparkling water, sugar cane syrup and fresh lemon grass. Add a laurel leaf and forest berries to finish.

Ingredients

  • Forest Fruit Flavour (40ml)
  • 4x Ice cubes (30g each)
  • 10ml Sugar Cane syrup
  • 1x Laurel leaf
  • 120ml Sparkling water
  • 5g Lemon grass
  • Forest Berries for decoration

Materials

  • Reveal Cold Recipe Glass
  • Cocktail Strainer

How to make this recipe?

  • Step 1

    In little jug, muddle 3gr of fresh lemon grass, and extract 40ml of Festive Forest Fruit Flavour espresso over it. Let it infuse for 3 min
  • Step 2

    Into a Reveal Cold Coffee Glass, add 4 Ice Cubes (30g), 10ml of Sugarcane Syrup and 120ml of Sparkling water. Stir it and add a Laurel leaf.
  • Step 3

    Pour the coffee on top through a strainer.
  • Step 4

    Finish by decorating with some forest berries and fresh lemongrass branches.

This festive flavoured coffee brings you those same juicy berry aromas in a smooth cereal-noted base blend of South American Arabicas. A sweet pastry note emerges, as satisfying as the homemade taste of freshly baked berry pie after a forager’s trip through that other place where bright red bursts forth from deep green.

Stepping beyond coffee farming to support communities that call the forest home, Nespresso is contributing to the protection of 10 million trees in the Amazon Forest in La Pedrera, Colombia - where Conservation International and the Madroño community work on preserving the area’s forests.

Partners like PUR Projet and Technoserve have helped Nespresso and local coffee farming communities to understand the gifts of the forest, through agroforestry. Agroforestry is an agricultural practice in which trees are grown around or among crops, for soil protection, water replenishment, windbreak, temperature regulation, and additional income - so that not only your coffee, but also the surrounding ecosystems can benefit from the gifts of the forest.

For nearly 20 years, the Rainforest Alliance has worked with Nespresso to help secure the stable, long-term supply of sustainably-sourced high-quality coffee, whilst protecting the natural environment and supporting the wellbeing of farmers and communities; through training on farm management for increased productivity and improved harvest quality; and by helping build resilience to climate change through climate-smart agricultural practices.

ORIGIN
Clear the path this season for the enticing tastes of FOREST FRUIT FLAVOUR. Juicy berry aromas run through this season’s flavoured espresso as the South American Arabicas’ lingering cereal character takes on a festive sweet pastry note.
ROASTING
Split roast, the Brazilian coffee is lightly roasted to keep it smooth and with all its malted cereal notes intact, while the majority of the Colombian coffee beans get a short roast to release all their finer aromatics. A fine grind adds a glimmer of intensity to this harmonious coffee.
AROMATIC PROFILE
Sink your teeth into juicy berry and festive sweet pastry notes. This flavoured espresso brings forest fruit notes to a smooth South American Arabica blend.
