Q. Would you share unforgettable moment during the farm trip?

I cherish every single experiences at the coffee farm, but the most unforgettable moment was when I had the opportunity to plant my own coffee tree at Mimin's farm.
Mimin, a talented female farmer, leads a community of 28 farmers, and I was truly inspired by her dedication and the commitment she and Willy demonstrate in nurturing the coffee trees to produce beautiful blooms.

This effort not only contributes to the cultivation of quality coffee but also spreads joy to many.
I anticipate that these reflections will stay with me long after my return to Korea.

Previously, I enjoyed coffee exclusively through Nespresso's capsules, but my experience on the farm allowed me to witness firsthand the extensive efforts and dedication of various individuals involved in the coffee production process. This experience was quite different from what I had anticipated.

Furthermore, understanding the level of collaboration and dedication required in filmmaking has given me insight into the coffee industry as well; I realized that the process of cultivating and nurturing coffee is a similarly collective endeavor

Q. Could you elaborate your view on the farm and farmers' life? What did you see and what did you feel?

This farm visit provided a valuable opportunity to observe and appreciate the immense effort that goes into producing the coffee we enjoy daily.

Mimin's farm is dedicated to researching and implementing environmentally friendly farming practices that prioritize soil health, contributing to a sustainable future. The professionalism and passion for agriculture exhibited by the farmers will undoubtedly enhance the richness of the coffee flavors.

Moreover, it is important to acknowledge that many farmers worldwide still face challenges related to fair treatment. I learned that Nespresso is committed to creating an environment where farmers can focus on producing high-quality coffee without the constant concern for their livelihoods, facilitated by fair treatment under formal agreements.
