Nespresso April Coffee Letter
With the fast pace of life these days, the word 'relaxation' can sometimes feel like a luxury. However there's a saying that you should walk slowly to go far instead of rushing. In April, how about pausing for a moment and setting off to find some leisure?
Tasting tip to enjoy coffee of the month
Dry processed Ethiopian Arabica brings those alluring aromatics to this blend - you'll taste everything from ripe fruit to delicate orange blossom. Enjoy it as black coffee or add orange and chocolate and for a sweet and tangy twist.
COFFEE STORY
by 고유진 Nespresso coffee bard
Q1. The main theme for the April coffee letter is relaxtion. Do you ever find moments of relaxation in the midst of your busy daily life?
I have the breadth of mind to take in my surroundings when I travel. Even with a busy schedule, I make an effort to go on an overseas trip once or twice a year. Unlike the rush of everyday life, those moments where I can fully focus on myself and choose how to spend my time feel like a kind of relaxation to me.
Q2. What makes this coffee special to you?
Ethiopia is a coffee that made me say, "Wow, why does this taste so good?" the first time I took a sip. During my time working at a café, I've visited many famous coffee shops and tried specialty coffees that are quite expensive, along with great coffees from renowned cafes abroad. But the coffee that beat them all was Ethiopia. It has the pleasant, subtle acidity that you’d expect from a great hand-drip coffee, along with a smooth texture that fills your mouth and lasts until the last sip.
Q3. Who would you recommend this coffee to?
Ethiopia, made with the dry processing method, is a symbol of leisurely time itself. The flavors naturally absorbed while drying the coffee cherries under the sun are as sweet as fruit, and the deep aroma envelops your mouth. I recommend it to anyone who wants to take a moment to catch their breath and enjoy a little peaceful moment amid a busy day.
Q4. Do you have a special twist when enjoying this coffee?
If you want to fully enjoy the charm of Ethiopia, I recommend having it as an Americano with added warm water. For a mood boost I suggest trying one of this month’s coffee recipes, the Orangette Coffee, which pairs perfectly with a sweet dessert. It’s a cream recipe I enjoy regularly and I’m proud to share it with Ethiopia. The refreshing orange cream is truly irresistible, and it pairs beautifully with Ethiopia’s smooth and subtle acidity.
