ROASTING
Both splits in this blend are dark roasted. However, we separate the Costa Rican beans from the rest for a darker and particularly long roast, which pushes the beans much further than what we usually do. This process enhances the intensity and depth of the coffee's flavour, bringing out the bold and bitter characteristics that make it unique.
WITH MILK
As a Cappuccino, the roasted, smoky notes infuse the milk foam slightly and are softened with hints of cereal, chocolate and nuts.

The challenge was to achieve this intensity with only 100% Arabica beans, all while maintaining a velvet-smooth, non-harsh profile.
As the journey unfolded, we learned that long-roasting was the key, but it had to be done without carbonizing the beans. For six years, Dharkan was a permanent Nespresso offering, and it left a lasting impression. It has been frequently paired with Kazaar in communication as its 100% Arabica counterpart due to the intense nature of both coffees. Many devoted fans still crave its unique blend today. That's why Nespresso has revived it as part of the Unforgettable favourites campaign, so its long-time enthusiasts can relish this classic coffee once more.
