Why we love it: A wide range of spice notes, mainly defined by cloves, cinnamon and cardamom melts with sweet pumpkin flavour to create this smooth Arabica blend from Ethiopia, Central and South America for an indulgent treat inspired by Pumpkin Spice Cake.
Roasting Process
The Arabica coffees in this blend are split roasted. The Brazilian beans are roasted lightly and quickly to develop their sweetness. The second split gives this Vertuo coffee its velvety texture.
With milk
A dash of milk will make Pumpkin Spice Cake more mellow and sweet, with buttery and biscuit notes. The cinnamon and clove notes will still push though to deliver a milky and spicy cup.

In 2016, Nespresso developed end of the year Vertuo variations inspired by the rich world of the holiday season. These three limited edition were: Pumpkin Spice Cake, Banana Bread and Gingerbread – cakes and desserts with tempting smells and sweet flavours.
Based on the success of the variations, we are relaunching Pumpkin Spice Pumpkin Spice Cake, available for the Vertuo system.
Pumpkin Spice Cake is inspired by the rich world of the holiday season. The flavour of Pumpkin Spice Cake comes to life in this smooth Arabica blend of Ethiopian, Central and South American coffees with the characteristic of spice notes, mainly defined by cloves, cinnamon and cardamom.
