Ethiopia is a naturally flowery coffee that gains fruitiness and complexity from its signature drying method, revealing ripe blueberry notes and a hint of musk.
Why we love it: It’s hard not to love the delicate floral aromas in washed East African coffees - fragrant jasmine and bergamot notes in full bloom. We blended these Arabica coffees with dry processed Ethiopian Arabica to add a wilder floral touch. With Vertuo Aflorazio you’ve got the full bouquet. The Ethiopian coffee gets a light, medium length roast to bring out those wild notes. Light and long roasting the other East African coffees keeps the delicate aromas intact. Vertuo Aflorazio is a Gran Lungo coffee with a mild but fragrant crema, delicate floral and blueberry aromas, and just a hint of a heady musk note.
