Would NOT Recommend

I've had this machine for a year now and can say that I absolutely do not recommend it or and quite frankly hate it. We got the Vertuo Pop to replace our older machine because it ws suppose to be slimer and quiet and I regret that decision. The main issue is that the machine will quit when making more than 5 oz of coffee and has been tripped the circuit twice. We did not have the same issue with our old machine. It is also very sensitive with the capsules. We have wasted so many capsules because we have gotten an error and the machine is unable to make coffee. Our older Nespresso Machine was more efficient and just easier to use, I regret getting rid of it.

I bought this machine back in February of 2024 (7 months now) and I absolutely love this one! I was tired of brewing half quality coffee beans and getting stale, bitter, and sad results. I switched to Nespresso because, 1.) Buying lattes outside is already expensive enough. 2.) I can switch between coffee and espresso pods. 3.) I get to play around with the pods and choose which flavor/strength I want each day. 4.) This little guy takes up so little space! 5.) The pacific blue is too cute. 6.) Fast shipping from the website. Overall, I am glad I switched and will never go back to drip coffee machines again. :)

mine lasted about 5 years and now its causing some issues. i got a discount buying a next one. I would buy it again. not sure some here had their machines die off as early as in months. but it served me well.. although they could have added more buttons, that'd ease up cleaning and troubleshooting.

Lawn Mower Loud and Low Budget Feel

I bought the Nespresso Pop+ to replace my Vertuo Next which bit the dust after about 5 years. I loved the color and compact style of this model, but was very disappointed after the first use. While the machine looks cute, it's VERY loud and sounds like there's a lawnmower in my kitchen when the machine is "working." This is not an exaggeration. The feel of the machine is flimsy, and you really have to push the top down to lock the capsule into place. I am returning it. Don't go for the cute/cheap model; paying a little more for increased quality of machine is worth it. Lesson learned.

Hard to open capsule holder + too much foam

I bought this about 7 months ago and am very disappointed. First, it is very difficult to open and close the capsule holder. I have to force it, and my 75 year old parents weren't able to do it. Horrible design. Second, the machine produces SO MUCH foam, like 2 inches per cup that I have to scoop out. Do not recommend.

The layer that forms on top of each brewed coffee is a combination of coffee and air called the crema and is naturally created during the extraction process. As each blend brews according to its own unique parameters, there is no way to adjust the amount of crema that forms, however the volume will subside. We recommend folding the crema into your cup to ensure consistency in flavor and temperature. For any machine issues you're experiencing, please call 24/7 for assistance, 800.562.1465.

I’ve had my Nespresso Vertuo Next for over 2 years. We’ve used it for three people maybe 4-6 cups of coffee a day. It’s easy to set up coming out of the box. Definitely register your new machine with Nespresso. It’s easy to do with Bluetooth. Once your machine is paired online Nespresso can help you solve any problems that may arise. I have had ZERO issues with my machine. There are videos to show you step by step instructions on how to clean your machine and how to descale your machine. I try to keep my machine cleaned weekly by wiping everything down including opening the top and carefully making sure everything is clear of coffee grounds and dried coffee. When we travel we always wish we had brought along our Nespresso because regular coffee just isn’t good anymore. Not even bought coffee from Starbucks or Dutch Bros. Can compare. I wish the coffee was less expensive, but you get what you pay for and we will continue to pay for Nespresso coffee!

I recently purchased this machine as I just loved the colour I already own a machine. This machine was very disappointing it is a lot noisier , doesn’t feel like the same quantity and even where you place a cup feels flimsy. Disappointed I will be returning it as I don’t think my pop of colour was worth it.

I was looking for a Vertuo machine that would replace this that would mean that we only had to purchase the Vertuo capsules and not the original. This seemed like the same size. Although it is close to the same size, it is a bit bigger and it seems to be louder and heavier than the original. We just returned from a trip with it and it did not handle my Altissio capsules well and I had to use two just to get a decent amount of coffee in my cup. I'll give it another try, but so far not impressed with the machine's operation.

Hi, thank you for your review. We understand that the Vertuo Pop Plus does not meet your expectations as the Pixie did. We’d like to note that they are different technologies and uses different brewing methods. While the Pixie uses a pressure method to brew, the Vertuo Pop Plus uses a rotation brew method, reading a barcode to dispense the coffee/espresso. If the Espresso (1.35 ounce) pour for the Vertuo Pop Plus is too short, you may program your machine to brew the capsule at a larger pour, or brew two capsules to get your desired pour, or you can brew one capsule twice (known as a top off). We recommend running a priming cycle through your machine once a week to assist with keeping the taste, texture, body, and aroma in each brew. We also recommend descaling your machine every three months or 300 capsules, whichever comes first. If you need assistance with your Vertuo Pop Plus, please do not hesitate to contact us through our toll-free number, 800-562-1465. I received my machine as a Christmas gift. It was to replace my previous one that died after 2 years. This one is now 18 months old, so no longer under warranty. I woke up today to a solid white light on the button and it no longer works. The button itself does not respond when I push it. When I researched online, this happens with these machines regularly. I have tried all the suggestions and nothing works. I am terribly disappointed, particularly because I have A LOT of pods left that are now useless because I opened the boxes to put the capsules in the drawer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased a Vertuo Pop Plus Deluxe. I am very happy with it. It takes up minimal space on my small kitchen counter. There are now a lot of coffee pod choices. I still like a full American size cup of coffee in the morning and the pods for the Colombian and other non-espresso blends are great….as is the amount and the texture of the “crema”. The only draw back is that Nespresso makes if very difficult to recycle the pods. The recycle bag was not offered to me at the Tysons Corner Boutique….now, it seems I can only get ONE recycle bag when I place a new order. This is very inconvenient and a bit too, too bureaucractic.
