Home compostable coffee capsules
Our home compostable capsules offer the irresistible Nespresso taste you love.
Discover the five new coffee blends from dark and intense to fruity and balanced. Sustainably produced and specially developed for an optimal taste experience.
The compostable coffee capsules are suitable for your Nespresso (original) machine.

Innovation
After years of development, Nespresso has developed a new paper-based capsule that can be composted at home. The capsule is made of 82% paper pulp and the remaining 18% consists of a thin biodegradable interior made of biopolymer that functions as an oxygen protective barrier. This combination helps protect the freshness and aromas of the ground coffee in the capsule.

Tasting
Curious about our new home compostable capsule? Discover our new coffee blends now in the Nespresso Boutiques.

Freshness
The aromas of the coffee are retained for up to 6 months (4 weeks if the package is opened) for an unparalleled Nespresso experience.

Home compostable
The capsules are made for composting at home, in a garden or in a compost bin nearby. You may not put the capsules in the residual waste or in the organic waste bin. More information about this can be found here
Enjoy your new coffee ritual
Using our home compostable capsules is as easy as using an aluminum capsule. Place the capsule in your Original machine and enjoy the irresistible Nespresso taste.
