Capriccio
We have always been misfits when it comes to coffee, even when we only had four coffees in the range. To make Capriccio the most intense coffee, we used Robusta beans for a bit more spice, a bold move at the time. So get to know the Capriccio: an espresso with a rich and unique taste. The combination of South American Arabica's and a touch of Robusta provide a surprisingly fresh sour aroma.
Roasting
We roast the Capriccio lightly to retain the fine acidity that shines through the rich grain notes. The light branding creates that rich profile that is unique to Capriccio.
With milk
A splash of milk reveals the smooth, sweet character of the Capriccio and enhances the mildly roasted flavors. Enjoy the notes of biscuit and caramel in a cappuccino. As a latte macchiato, the Capriccio retains its strong cereal notes, which are enhanced with an accent of caramel.
The origin
In the beginning, the coffee industry claimed that only Arabica beans were worth it when it came to coffee of the highest quality. But now the Robusta - which we have held in high esteem for twenty years - is recognized by the entire industry as very tasty and powerful.
