Barista Milk Frother

This machine has a mountain of functions… it’s a slightly steep learning curve but worth the effort. Best hot chocolate you’ll ever make at home & so many other recipes available.

I bought the Barista Milk Frother about a year ago and have found it really good and easy to use. My 9 year old grandson loves to make hot chocolates so I am getting another one for him for his birthday.

It leaks milk everywhere. Poor design. We have been sent another lid, but it won’t fix the problem. It’s a design issue.

Like many reviews here, I also owed a Nespresso Barista Milk Frother and it made perfect frother when it's working and not leaking but 8/10 times it's leaking no matter what you do, and the milk overflows and makes a big mess. It's now sitting in the cupboard as it's unusable. There is so much to like but just a big disappointment.

I bought this machine and I’ve only used this three times and now it won’t work at all. It only displays the WDG-2 constantly and I can’t get it to reset.

In the infrequent instances that this works, the milk is nice. However 9 times out of 10 the lid pops off during the frothing process, leaving a huge mess! Even when standing there the whole time holding the lid down, milk still somehow comes out of the jug and leaks into the base. No matter how much or little milk is in the jug. Really disappointed given the price of the machine.

Approx 3-years ago I attended a Nespresso Barista course and purchased this product. Very shortly after it leaked everywhere! I use a food grade grease by Inox to lubricate the o-ring seal. It seals and doesn’t leak. It’s not possible to do the same cycle twice ie cappuccino, so I switch to Latte Art for the second coffee, a compromise but I’m yet to find a better milk frother without using steam

This machine does make perfectly frothed milk, it also makes perfect hot chocolates with enough quantity to fill a normal cup. Unfortunately there is a significant fault in that the lid will either pop of and leave milk all over the machine or it will leak, also requiring a good clean of the machine. I am surprised this product made it to market with this issue. I wish I had read reviews on this first as it appears to be quite a common issue. I really hope that they can have a suitable fix for the seal/lid etc. It leaks where the spout of the container is. Looks like the seal doesn’t make very good contact with the container in that area. This would be a 5 star review if it didn’t leak but it’s really not a good start to the day when you have to clean all the milk out of this machine.

I love this machine, it froths perfect. The downfall is It does come out, but that's only if it's filled close to the max level. I use a small weight on it when I use it and hasn't happened again.

This is the best frother by far. Easy to use, easy to clean and most importantly it froths the milk very well. Great for flat whites and if you run it twice the milk comes out creamy. I purchased a second one and use it in my caravan off my inverter. Also makes great iced milkshakes for the grandchildren.

This is my 2nd Barista. My first lasted about three years before it burnt out. Aside from blowing its lid off often it does what it is supposed to do very well. The reason I have only scored this one a three star is that the motor is making an unusual noise already......which I do find concerning. Hope it doesnt burn itself out to soon. Aside from that it is really good at doing the job. Most importantly it is a dream to clean.

I purchased this machine because I thought it would be A great companion for my mini pod machine, however it leaks milk every time I use it, I only do flat whites, don't even fill it to max. Temperature is good though, about the only positive.

This is the best milk frother I have ever used. It's simple to use, lots of options for milk styles. It's so easy to clean - it all goes in the dishwasher (except for the electrical part, obviously, but that bit doesn't get dirty! You can prepare multiple coffees without a layer sticking to the bottom - I haven't had anything stick to the bottom! It does take quite a while for the milk to be ready. I haven't timed it, but it's a lot longer than any other frother I have used. It's also a bit tricky to see where to fill it up to. I had one overflow situation!

Lid pops off & spinner randomly fall off magnet when spinning fast, under milk limit but does make nice froth when working.

It has a lot of great functions for a milk frother but it almost ALWAYS leaks milk because of how high it spins the milk. I have never overfilled it but it is incapable of keeping a tight seal. The mid post also gets thrown off its axis if you put in milk without the canister being connected to the magnet.

Xmas present so only had it for a few days. Love it. Wanted something to make iced drinks . Iced frappe setting does an amazing job on my diet shake. It’s like having a delicious super thick chocolate smoothie. 100ml of milk plus ice cube whips it up to fill 200ml glass. Does an amazing iced coffee also. Still experimenting with the different recipes. If I have to make multiple coffees, I still use my Espresso machine. Barista is a bit slow for making multiple coffees , but , for single cup does a great job. Particularly like Flat White setting. Haven’t tried some of the fancier coffees yet. Great simple setup, my little Delonghi Essenza mini with the Barista. Didn’t expect to get so much enjoyment out of it.

Constantly leaks, lid always pops up and milk spills everywhere, not worth the money

It can only be used for one cup of coffee at a time and you cannot adjust temperature which is also annoying.

I think that this product is slightly over-priced, but nice
