Great coffee - dumb design

This machine makes great coffee - absolute plus. BUT After out last Nespresso Verturo machine eventually died, we bought this one quickly and it was delivered promptly next day. Unpacked it and thought, what were their designers thinking when this one came off the drawing board! In an era when bench space is SO important why design a machine that is as long as my forearm and only a hand width high?? As a result the storage tank is also tiny - half the height of the previous coffee maker. Now try and get a normal cup under the spout. As long as you only drink espressos all good....but a normal kitchen cup. No go - so you end up talking off the drip tray and then it drips on the counter top. It may look good on the add..... but look at sizes before you buy this model.

This Nespresso Vertuo Pop+ is perfect for a tasty morning espresso. Also excellent for a cold coffee drink. The only thing I would like to see on this machines is to make the espresso hotter other than that is perfect.

I bought this machine 2 months ago after my previous machine of 2 years broke. After only 2 months this machine broke. I brewed a double espresso and the entire espresso brewed out of the bottom of the machine and right next to the cord causing a major electrical safety hazard. This machine also feels much cheaper than the previous machine I had. Would not recommend this machine.

Coffee always tastes burnt. Really quite disappointing. We have to give it a water flush after every second coffee to keep on top of the coffee that stays in the dispenser.

We recommend descaling your machine with Nespresso Descaling Solution every 3 months or 300 capsules, whichever comes first, to remove internal mineral deposit that can build up, which can affect the flow, temperature and overall performance of your machine. A weekly cleaning will keep the brew unit clear of grinds and coffee residue. If you're still experiencing issues after descaling, please call us to speak with a machine expert. I loved my machine while it lasted however after only owning it for 2.5 years it randomly quit one morning. The machine would no longer read the barcodes even with all the recommended actions from nespresso themselves. Sad that you can only get a few years out of these machines and thats it.

This would be a great machine if only it was a bit more reliable! I have had 3 of these in the last 4 years and the third one just broke down today with the same blinking orange light issue (factory reset, cleaning and descaling didn't fix the issue either!) Just bought a CitiZ instead hoping those one last a bit longer.
