Got a replacement and same problem button stopped working
Third and final Machine same problem now will not replace as it’s out of warranty

Beautiful sleek modern design! You do have to wait until the water heats so it does take a few seconds. The coffee is quality and the taste of the coffee from nespresso is top notch, you can make American coffee and expresso. I find that you have to place a little pressure to close the lid (to seal)

Would not recommend. Even with regular cleaning these machines get to the point where they won’t read the capsules anymore, very frustrating.
Nespresso only offers support with step by step cleaning which hasn’t solved the issue.

The Nespresso Vertuo Next has been a mixed experience. The sleek and compact design fits perfectly on my counter without taking up too much space. The machine is user-friendly, with a simple one-button operation that delivers a good cup of coffee. The variety of coffee sizes, from espresso to large mugs, is a nice feature, and the quality is generally good with a rich crema. The barcode system ensures optimal brewing for each pod, making it convenient. Additionally, the machine heats up quickly, so I never have to wait long for my coffee. However, the machine requires frequent descaling, which can be quite annoying. I've also encountered several malfunctions during the descaling process, which adds to the frustration. Cleanup is otherwise easy, and the used capsule container is simple to empty. Overall, while the Nespresso Vertuo Next offers convenience and decent coffee quality, the frequent descaling and occasional malfunctions make it a 3-star product for me.

This is my second Vertuo Next Solo, I think I wore the first one out. I love the flexibility it gives me to move between iced coffee and latte's, expresso's etc. I have about ten different blends and love it. I don;t need to go out and can jump straight into a great coffee.

I will start off by saying I love my Nespresso coffee and have for nearly a decade now, however, coffee aside my negativity towards Nespresso is due to the awful quality of the Next. I have gone through 3-4 of these in the past 4 years, some of which rather conveniently failed just outside of the warranty period.
My current unit lasted the longest at about 2 years but now that it has stopped working again I am left with a sour taste in my mouth once again, as I frequently replace the coffee-making machine. It would be nice if Nespresso put the same quality and care into their machines as they do in their coffee.
Unfortunately, there is no manufacturing alternative, so I am stuck with buying these junk machines repeatedly, this being at least the 4th time now, and it is likely the last time I consider buying another one of these.
For context, I make 2 coffees daily and clean + descale twice a year.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A disaster, in so many ways. Harley-Davidson loud. Used pod compartment makes a gross mess each time the pods are dumped. You have to bring the trash to the machine to avoid staining your floors. Machine needs to be reset, constantly. I've had it for about three years and I've had to reset it about 50 times. And today it finally broke down by leaking coffee all over the counter instead of pouring into the cup. My other vertuo machine has none of these problems. It works quietly, seamlessly, without the need for restarts. Opt for any of the others instead. Avoid the Next.

Stay far away from this machine. All the horrible reviews are right. Nespresso is obviously aware of the issues and not doing anything about it. My machine constantly blinks at me, won’t brew without going through a whole cleaning cycle first. Sometimes I can get it going if I do a sequence of unplugging, opening the lid, spinning the top capsule puncture thing, closing again, restarting etc. Customer service insists on “troubleshooting” which results in a successful brew in the end but the next day it happens all over again.
I’ve had the Vertuo Round head in the past and zero issues with that one. This one is a lemon. Stay far away.

I had to switch back to my old machine as this one leaks a lot of water. I've replaced it twice as it was still under warranty and all 3 machines I've had ALL leak water. There's definitely a design problem here and not an individual machine problem. I would not recommend buying this to anyone. You're better off buying a cheaper original machine. Coffee pods are ok, finding the original ones better with more variety.

Troublesome - Look to a different lineup or brand

Lasted a year and a couple months. During that year we had multiple issues with it refusing to provide a full cup of coffee. We completed descaling every 2 to 3 months along with rinses every week. We also did several factory resets.
Take a look around on the internet for other reviews the Vertuo Next line up is riddled with similar or worse issues. We did not have any leaking problems (yay, I guess) but this is a real pain to deal with.
I will say that when it works it does produce a great cup of coffee. I'll be asking the wife if we want to continue using Nespresso products or if we go somewhere else. These products are quite expensive and I expect a lot better for the money we spend.

2 machines both stopped working

Absolutely horrible machine. Our first machine stopped working only after 1 month and had it replaced with a brand new machine, which also then broke after only a few months of using. It just flashes orange after spinning for a bit and stops working. Nothing seems to get it working again even with cleaning. Looks like many others have the same issue. Please avoid.

Does not work 90% of the time. App is less than useless.
Try to make coffee, get a buzzing noise and a red flashing light.
Take pod out and try again, red flashing light.
Clean all parts with a damp cloth, try again, red flashing light.
Repeat 5 or 6 more times untill coffee finally comes out, 30 min and 4 wasted pods later.
Vertuo next it litterly worse than a $15 drip machine.
The drip machine would be faster, make more coffee and not cost 6 dollars a cup.

Love my Nespresso it’s so much more cheaper and convenient to make coffee at home. Regular brewed coffee just doesn’t do it for me like espresso and the easiness of not having to press the espresso or pack it makes it so worth it.

I got this on sale so I don’t have any complaints to be honest. It does occasionally leave a lot of grounds in my cup, or doesn’t brew evenly, but i’m not picky about that stuff so i don’t mind. Easy to use, and mine came with a frother too which was a great bonus.
