High in Costa Rica’s mountains, only a small selection of Arabica coffee beans is soaked in rainforest hot spring waters. The scarcity of this Limited Edition comes from this rare process which highlights the malty sweet cereal character of this craftsman’s coffee.
A group of AAA farmers selectively handpicked this coffee in Costa Rica’s Central Highlands. Imagine some of the country’s richest scenery – rainforests, volcanoes, hills and valleys lined with coffee plants and sugar cane – and then, in one of the oldest communities in Costa Rica, Orosi’s mineral hot spring. The Hot Springs Technique is patented by one of the local farmers – you won’t find it anywhere else.

Master Origin Costa Rica gets a split roast. The first part gets a medium roast that develops that sweet malty cereal character in the coffee. The other split is a stronger roast that gives Master Origin Costa Rica its roasted note.
