Origin
This 100% Arabica blend gets its coffee mostly from Ethiopia and Indonesia.
Roasting
The first part of this blend gets a light and short to enhance the delicate notes typical of Ethiopian Arabica. The second gets a medium roast to bring balance and roundness to the cup.

The first COFFEE+ coffees were Melozio Boost/Go* and Stormio Boost/Go* launched in 2021 (US & UK first), two Vertuo favourites infused with extra caffeine (200mg caffeine per cup, vs 165-170 mg/cup for the regular blend), followed in 2022 by Vivida, a Mug-size coffee (Melozio base) enriched with Vitamin B12 contributing to the normal functioning of the immune system*.
Ginseng Delight, a double espresso with Ginseng extract and an indulgent caramel flavour, was launched in 2023.
In 2025, Nespresso introduces Active, the first coffee from the COFFEE+ range to be specially crafted to be served over ice. ACTIVE is a double espresso (VL Ice Leggero base) with almond vanilla flavour (same flavour as the successful Summer Limited Edition Sunny Almond Vanilla in 2024). Active is enriched with Vitamin B6, which helps to reduce tiredness and fatigue when consumed daily*.
